not clued in

hi everyone i am new to computing i have no training i use a laptop in work a pc at home nothing to serious just a few emails and a bit of on line poker,the thing is any time i have a problem my lack of experience makes solving the problem or finding a solution very hard i hope this forum can enlighten me and point me in the right direction,hears hoping.
