Outlook/Exchange Mailbox corrupt?

One of the guys in my office, every time he starts up Outlook 2003 for the first time has a msg pop up saying it needs to rebuild his mailbox. I have removed it from his pc entirely and readded it, nothing. I even uninstalled and reinstalled outlook, nothing. Is it possible the problem is actually on the server and not his pc? if so could some one point me in how to fix the problem? thanks!

Try running detect and repair from Outlook.
