testestoronto Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Hi everyone,I am a newbie in this forum so forgive me if my post is unnecessary; I searched my problem before this post.I made an XP Home CD using NLite for my laptop. I have Intel® 82801 GBM SATA AHCI Controller. I integrated its TXT driver and I backed up the rest of my drivers with DriverMagician and integrated them (dont know if this is necessary) . There is another hidden folder under my WINDOWS directory called inf. So i added everything over there too. When I boot with the CD, it recognizes the drivers and before XP setup it just says Setup cannot access the cd containing the Windows XP installation files. By the way when I tested my CD while Windows is working for hardware compatibility, it generates this error: Error reading information from netmap.inf.I would appreciate any help since i recovered my laptop 3 times after unsuccesful formatting. Thank you very much.
