Treeman
I notice that every time I do a disk clean-up, "WebClient/Publisher Temporary Files," are always populated after surfing the web. Are these cached web pages I've look at and how would you access them?I always nuke them after online banking just because I don't know what's stored there. Thanks for the info.Best,Treeman
cluberti
The WebClient service is there to facilitate WebDAV browsing, and if you aren't doing anything with WebDAV you can safely disable the service. Note, however, that installing Office installs another WebDAV redirector (which you can disable in Office XP/2003, but not Office 2007). Usually you'll see temporary WebDAV files when you visit an IIS site with FP Extensions enabled (used or not).
