During my unattended installation of NTI CD-Maker I noticed it would stop installing ASPI drivers and then move on to the next app. When I open the program an error message pops up saying "No Supported Drives Detected".

Now, of course, I can't use it because it won't see the drives and hence the discs.

(I really like this program because it's the only one I know that reads multi-session discs)

You think it has to do with my registry settings?

Strangely enough, I have no problems with Nero.

Nero has it's own ASPI driver.

Install just ASPI 4.6 (imho 4.7 is a little bit buggy)

Use "aspinit.exe silent" for an unattended installation.

Well I was unable to find v4.6 but I got v4.7 and installed it but I'm still getting the same error. Ugh.

The thing is, NTI CD-Maker automatically installs it's ASPI drivers after the software installation but something is preventing it from doing so. And for the life of me I can't understand why. What could cause it?

(I'm really frustrated because I need this app.)

I don't use NTI, but I do install the Adaptec ASPI 4.71.2 drivers. What I did was look at their install batch and "borrowed" the commands they used with some modifications :)

ECHO Installing Adaptec ASPI 4.71.2...
CALL %systemdrive%\Updates\aspi\REG_XP.EXE
COPY %systemdrive%\Updates\aspi\ASPIXP.SYS %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ASPI32.SYS /Y
COPY %systemdrive%\Updates\aspi\WNASPIXP.DLL %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32\WNASPI32.DLL /Y

This is the EXACT same function "install.bat xp32" does.
