SilverEagle5
I have customized the login screen for Windows XP Pro by modifying the msgina.dll file and this works fine. However, if the user goes to start, then shutdown (instead of hitting control+alt+delete) to log off or shutdown, the "Shut Down Windows" dialog box still has the original Windows XP Pro picture on it. Is there any way to make this picture the same as the others that I use for the login screen, or did I just happen to miss replacing a .bmp in the msgina file? Sorry if this is confusing, let me know if you need me to clarify. Thanks.
neo
Edit Shell32.dll in the same way as msgina.dllOpen shell32.dll in ResHacker and change the BMP resource of:BITMAP -> 14351BITMAP -> 14353BITMAP -> 14354BITMAP -> 14355BITMAP -> 14356 Save and exit ! Idontwantspam
Actually, I think it's just that the shutdown dialog doesn't read the ginaDLL tweak in the registry, assuming you're using that. Because regardless of the gina you use, that box is always the same. Always. UNLESS you totally replace GINA in which case it's the changed version.
