Embedd jpeg into Word doc

Does anyone know how to embedd a jpeg (headed paper design) into a Word doc?

I have tried many methods but it won't seem to work.

I need to attach my jpeg into a word doc (which i have done) but "flatten" it or render it so that its part of the word doc and not editable or moveable and also so it becomes a standard word doc size again ie: 3kb instead of 700kb!

I have inserted my pic at the heading of the paper in word, but can't seem to flatten it! help!!

erm....do it as a template and do it so that content isnt editable!!

then techincally it should work

Thanks, tried that but its still the same, although its gone down to 71.0kb but its still editible, ie: you can drag and move the jpeg around?
