Terminal Services

Secondary Logon

I'll make the new Compatibility option, this question popped up few times lately even though in the description it says that it is needed.

Thank you, is there any other way around it. I really don't need all those others features that Terminal Services provides (Remote Desktop, Remote Assistance & terminal server) I'm the only user on the computer and i just prefer to use the logon screen (switch user) instead of the lock computer option when im away from the computer, it looks nicer. :)

a) do the registry edit newsposter explained in this other thread:

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=98421

B) As Nuhi says in that other thread, turn on these 2 services::

Secondary Logon

Shell Services

and also turn on these 3 services:

Fast user switching

Remote Procedure Call (RPC}

Terminal Services

c) Start / Control Panel / User accounts / under the area "Pick a task" click on "Change the way users log onn or off" and on the next screen check the box for "Use fast user switching."
