Change The Program File Path Before Installation

Hi @all,

i've searched in this forum, but didn't found the right hint! :-(

Ok, my question!

It's possible to change the standard application path C:\Program Files (in German: C:\Programme) before i install windowsXP?

In the unattend.txt, with the path with the User Profiles it's possible, too!

Well, i hope everybody here has a good idea!

User Profile = ProfileDir=X:\Your path

put it under the [unattended] in the winnt.sif

but i think you have missunderstand me! I know, that i can change the User Profile Path, but i search a way to change the the standard program files path!

You know now what i mean! :-) Oh dear, my English is so bad, sorry

i think you need to mod the HIVES files to do that someone was working on that not to long ago.

i will have a look fro that topic and get back to you.
