Virtual Disc Utility

Hi Everyone,

I created a Virtual CD/DVD software which can mount ISOs. It is based on Bo Branten's Filedisk. You can check out my software at OtivTech

Now my problem is that filedisk cannot force eject an ISO. So if you are installing a game or something, and it asks you for the second disc, you cannot eject it. Please help me.

WinImage is a commercial application that also uses the FileDisk code, they have some documentation for it on their site and provide a downloadable demo that may give you some insight into which API they used for the dismount/eject.

It's been awhile since I went to their site but the encouraged folks to use the FileDisk code and used to provide downloadable source for it's usage.

Thanks for the reply. I checked WinImage but unfortunately they dont give out the source code and Bo Branten's name wasnt even mentioned. Anyway, I would be very grateful to you if you know how to modify this thing and get it to force eject. The problem is that I dont know C.

Anybody else knows? Please help me.
