Slow copy

Hi,

It takes me ages to copy files in Vista. It's much slower than XP and actually quite annoying. I've heard that MS made a patch for it. Where can I find this patch?

Search buddy, search. Not that hard to find it

Simply search the file name and its the first result... That is "Windows6.0-KB931770-x86.msu". See how easy that was....

Just to add - try disabling Windows Defender to see if you get any better performance, as well as removing (not disabling) your antivirus to see if that helps, if disabling defender does not.

I've searched, found, installed and got myself a nice blue screen. The way I understand it the intstallation of this patch is not automatic, but involves manual copies and settings.
