techywiz2007 Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 (edited) i finally solved my problem,i was using an ibm thinkpad to create the disk with nlite, so when i downloaded the drivers off fujitsu's website i didn't want to install them on the ibm, but they were .exe files...i tried extracting them only to find .cat files, but no inf!So i found the system restore disk, and just copied the sata driver files to my desktop, and integrated them in the installation, along with all of the windows updates, and internet explorer 7, and also wmp 11, (had to install wmp slipstreamer)when i created the disk, i modified the unattended settings, and made it fully automated,]i plan on using the disk on more than one laptop, so i left the product key blank, but it installed just fine and now i have a clean yet updated install of xp pro on it! it all seems so easy now that i figured it out!especially because i've been working on for over a week now!if anyone was in the same situatuion as me, and you still can't get it to install, pm me and i'll try to explain it with all the links, and a step by step process for youor we can discuss it here,it was my sata drvier, not configged correctly Edited May 17, 2007 by techywiz2007
