Has anyone went through all the steps of deploying XP with the new BDD/WDS setup? I'm a little lost. How

has it worked out for those who have tried it?

I've done it. There are a few "gotchas" that carry over from version 2.5, but it works.

I'd love to know what your pitfalls have been, i've managed to get images transferred - I'm a little confused as to the use of task sequencer as opposed to the unattend.txt file.

My objectives are quite simple - I need to roll out OS's the Lite Touch method, the only bit of information I want to input is the PC name and that's it. I want all the app's to be installed as part of the imaging process rather than being preloaded onto the image (some of the app's bind to hardware so have to be "installed"). I don't want to backup or restore data through USMT, I want any drivers to be installed.

I suppose I need to know what the task sequencer does and how much I can disable and also what does the unattend.txt control.

I'll pay good money to anyone who can help!
