Detected unfinished nlite operation

I ran nlite once and it wouldn't make the iso. So I reran nlite and now I receive the following error message: "Detected unfinished nlite operation. Don't reuse broken installations. Please copy a clean Windows installation and redo the process." I followed the instructions and received the same error message. I uninstalled and then reinstalled nlite. The same error message occurred. I am at a loss as to what to do. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem because I realised I'd forgotten to select a couple of options and cancelled part-way through the build process. I ended up having to delete the folder with the XP source files and copy them back from the Windows CD.
