Custom error bars crashing Excel 2007

I use Excel for lots of graph production. My work just upgraded to Office 2007, but we still use Windows XP. I have the problem that whenever I create a bar chart, that when i go add in error bars it crashes after I select "custom" followed by specify value. I'm not sure whatt he error is, but it crashes immeadiately upon attemtping to drag over a set of values in the data sheet.

Any ideas?

Could be a bug...

Try creating a new spreadsheet and copy/paste your work into it. Sometimes that irons out some wrinkles.
