MS Outlook Data Folders

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Trying to do a backup on a client's PC to retrieve the e-mail, contacts, and outlook settings. I'm not able to access the application do to corruption from the recent KB925902 update to the PC, is there another way to recover the data from within the Outlook Application, such as registry, or within windows folders??? or where exactly does the data for Outlook reside on the PC???

Any input on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

depends on how the computer was setup,

is this an exchange based mailbox? POP3? was version of outlook? was cached exchange mode on? most likely there is a PST out there if it was a POP3 account, if it was an Exchange account the mail should be out on exchange server. most out stuff resides in c:\windows\documents and settings\<useraccount>\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook
