tvaddict817
Just like the topic states, I want to force Vista to use ACPI. I have to press f5 at the beginning of Windows XP installation to select ACPI PC; otherwise, the installation hangs. When I try to install Vista upgrade, I get BSOD and "Stop: 0x0000005C (0x0000010B, 0x00000001, 0x00000000, 0x0000000)". I think that Vista can't recognize my computer as ACPI compliant even though it is so I want to force it to use ACPI HAL either by an unattended file or by some action during the installation. My computer: A7n8x dlx, ATI AIW 9000 Pro, 512MB Ram, Athlon XP 2600+
