bjdotcom Posted October 12, 2003 Share Posted October 12, 2003 Can anyone help this poor guy I searched this forum and am sometimes 24/7 here.But confused on changing themes using gosh tips and as well as the one other than the script in the main_batch.comCoz I searched this forum and was confusing how u create it either we got to use the registry scripts or just make directories in your $OEM$ folder like $$/Resources...blah blah!Can gosh or someone try to post a guide of having an sucessfull custom theme...most probably from scratch will help me... :/ Tried almost everything and am just confused....lolCudnt get it to work though.Thank UCheers Bj Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't think you have to make everything 8dot3, but i always try to anyway.I do see a possible sfc problem with mydocs.dll, shell32.exe, etc. Did you delete mydocs.dl_ from the xp install location?Try using my .theme file and see if it works. if it works, then it's some setting in your .theme file. Try to narrow down where the problem is - is the problem in the $OEM$ folder, the winnt.sif file, or the .theme file.-gosh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
