I have unattended version of windows XP from my friend, but MIDI controller already removed.

Which files I must extract from original Windows CD, so that I can play Midi files ?

I`ve tried to extract GM.Dls to system32 folder , but useless.

Did you try all the MCI*.DLL's?

There's about 5 or 6 of them and I know MCISEQ.DLL handles MIDI, but re-adding all of them can't hurt.
