March 28, 200719 yr basically when we are building servers and sending them out and want to get them DCPromo'd here at the office and have to keep monitoring the system while it asks for CDs, i have already put together an unattended install CD for SBS 2003, but we would like to turn our CDs 1-4 into a single DVD so we dont have to keep switching them in and out.is there a way to do this without buying the DVD version of the software?we have our SBS discs for our company server.
March 30, 200719 yr I have the R2 version on DVD and have tried unsucessfully to repack the SP1 version of SBS2003 and always get an error. I think it has to do with the bootsector (which points to CD1). I will look at the dvd structure and let you know. PM me and I can make put an empty DVD ISO (without the actual CD DATA)for you and you can try to repack it with SBS SP1. I have had the same question and get tired of feeding the server CD's.
