Bad Pool Caller

I recently made an unattended cd and built a new computer. As i was installing xp an error (BSOD) came up giving me something about a BAD_POOL_CALLER. I tried installing it from a normal unmodified xp cd and the same error came up. What is this error and is there a way to fix it? thanks
