douche Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 (edited) Is there anyway for Windows Media Player 6.4 to play DVDs? I think it can because there's an 'Open DVD' button to press, but when i do an 'X' covers the volume slider and it will NOT display any video. The following line is present in the registry:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings\EnableDVDUI= YESSo, what's going on? Am i just missing the right codec? If that's case where can i get that codec from? Edited March 14, 2007 by douche
odellkevin Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Just get Media Player Classic at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=84358 ,just make sure you get the mpc98me6490.zip version for Win98. Looks and acts just like Windows media Player 6.4, except it plays EVERYTHING.
