It should do.. (if it doesn't, ditch it for calling itself a firewall)

But still, you should patch Windows. A temporary solution is to view the properties of the RPC Service and tell it not to restart on failure of service.

The restarting of the PC was an unwanted effect by hackers in the RPC flaw, but its been said they've got around that problem, so you'll never know when they're in your PC.
