Would it work: Clean install, keep old registry.

I'll try to keep this short and sweet, but i've been up all night and I might ramble a bit so bear with me.

I'm going to perform a format and only one thing is holding me back. Since my last format i've amassed a ton of registry tweaks and didn't record what I have done so far. I want all the tweaks i've done up to now to be present in the aformentioned future format. Can I just export my entire (current) registry and over-write the new one that the clean install will make? I mean I know I can, but will it provide the desired effect i'm looking for? I know i'll have a TON of enties pointing to nothing, but a good regcleaner can fix that. TIA

make backup of ur reg tweaks into a file having extension .reg and patch the reg into fresh install or execute the reg file into ur unattended installtion using this command-line.

regedit /s <file-name.reg>

its general form of registry file....
