I'm in need of desperate help.

I did unattended installations a million times(Windows XP SP2 Professional) and everything ran smoothly.

Today I thought of checking which microsoft hotfixes are replaced by others and eliminate them. I mention that I'm using nLite for that.

But not nLite is the problem.

Everything runs ok untill T-12 when Cmdlines.txt comes in action.

This is my cmdlines.txt

[Commands]

"RunOnceEx.cmd"

"rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection nLite.inf,U"

"SPTDinst.exe add /q"

Sptd.exe is the duplex secure's sptd driver needed for Daemon Tools that gets installed ok. A quick flash of RunOnceEx.cmd appears and disappears quickly thanks to cmdow.

So I read on this forum other similar cases and thought of putting RunOnceEx.cmd inside brackets. Nada

So I said, ok let's add "rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess" at the end of RunOnceEx.cmd. Nada

I'm bangging my head to pieces, testing it a thousand times inside Vmware. Nothing cocnludent

Could this be due to integrating IE7 with nLite and not via RunOnceEx.cmd(plus both of the hotfixes)?

I'm sure it's not.

Here's my RunOnceEx.cmd

try calling the RunOnceEx.cmd as the last line in cmdlines.txt.

if u doubt ie7 hotfixes, try installing them alone thru runonceex(if u have integrated ie7 thru nlite).

Hey

So fast

I did. All my other thousand times installing it. I switched RunOnceEx.cmd, first, last, middle.

Curious that I didn't put "RunOnceEx.cmd" before, just RunOnceEx.cmd without brackets and it worked.

My RunOnceEx.cmd is ok. EDIT: Ok, but not running at T-12 as it did before. I tested it right now in vmware, the registry keys are there, that's waht I ment by "ok".

I had no problems installing IE7 via Runonce and I blew it.

Any thoughts?

I am using nlite 1.3 rc2.thats't the last version.

I narrowed it down. The fixes make my life hell.

I'll test it some more today

How did I miss it?

I'm checking everyday for a new version. It seems that you beat me to it.
