fattywhale Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I know this is old, but I'm bumping it, because I'm having the same error now. Not sure if it will have any effect when i go to burn the disk...but we shall see.
johnhc Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 fattywhale, please post a screen shot of the error. Also post a screen shot of an Explorer view of your CD. Tell us what version of Windows is on the CD and what version you are running. Are you using nLite (what version?) to copy the CD? Did you install .NET Framework 2.0 or a higher version? Have you tried doing a Select All on the CD files/folders and doing a copy to your folder? Enjoy, John.

Using nLite version 1.4.9.1. I have .NET Framework 2.0. When you say Select All and then copy, do you simply mean in explorer?Pics requested:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/milinko959/cd.gifhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v678/milinko959/error.gif
johnhc Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 fattywhale,When you say Select All and then copy, do you simply mean in explorer?Yes, in your first picture, just do a Select All and then right click one item and click copy, then paste into your new empty folder. I think this is worth a try.Unfortunately, the research I did indicates this is an HDD error. The paging system in Windows is trying to get a page that was written out and it failed. The recommendation I saw was to run chkdsk. I hope you have a good backup of your HDD. I suggest you do some research (Google your error message) and decide what you want to do. If you need instructions on running chkdsk, please let us know. Also take a look at your System Event Log and see if there are any errors logged at the time. Enjoy, John.
