windows media player 11

hi, in unattended installation xp, how can i remove dektop icon "windows media player 11"

and for internet explorer 7 in unattended i lost icon "show desktop" in quick launch how can i ????

Run these command after installation.

regsvr32 /n /i:U shell32.dll

Show Desktop will be repaired

del %userprofile%\Desktop\Windows Media Player.Lnk

eventhough u re-register shell32.dll, u will face the same problem when new users are created. its better to install ie7 using runonceex and its patches. see my post on how-to, since ie7 has got serious bug of crippling runonceex.
