mickbench Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I'm having a problem here, and can't for the life of me get this working. I've got a new system, and its using RAID, with no RAID drivers on my Windows XP MCE 2005 CD.I've built a ISO using nlite, but try as I might, no VM session will take the build. It always errors with Set up is unable to verify drive : CLack of Memory, or corrupted data on CDI've tried this time and time again, from different sources, as I've got access to MSDN CD's and a retail copy. I can see the JMicron RAID drivers loading up, so this does work, and I can format the drive, but it will not verify it. This CD doesn't work on VM or on the actual machine, or my Laptop I used to create the ISO.So, it is the CD and not a crummy VM session or something.. Can't work it out. Tried all sorts of settings, this is my last session.ini file, was having a play with additional software as well, but sadly, CD boots, gets to the verify disk, and just falls over. This cannot be this hard, I mean if it wasn't for the **** motherboard SATA, I'd not be doing this, but no floppy drive, not a single one in the house. Loath to buy and install a floppy to install a 600K driver guess I could borrow one, and anyhow, this App looks cool, as I can make a 1 disc install from two and remove the rubbish and add required apps etc so keen to get this working.Any advice please share, I did a search nothing really came up.LAST_SESSION.INI
mickbench Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 I couldn't get Windows XP MCE MSDN or Retail CD to work with Nlite, but a Windows XP Pro CD that was slipstreamed to SP2 worked. But it does error with RPC errors. Which is odd, as RPC and DCOM Server process launcher are up and running, I can't even install any apps or use the Event Viewer.. ?? any ideas anyone? I'm so close to getting this working.and I don't really recommend a Dell D600 laptop that is about 4 years old using VMWARE as a speedy way to test your ISO, as it took hours to install. Took less then 10 minutes on my dual core duo..
