Networking issue

Hi Teamsters,

I have a networking issue.

I have Vista Home Premium on my desktop and can easily access my notebook which is running Home Basic.

However when it comes to the otherway round. no go.

I get an error msg saying check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there might be a problem with your network. (well duh)... then click diagnose.

Has anyone had this problem.

I had XP Home on my notebook prior to Home Bacis and I had no problems.

Any input much appreciated.

Go into the Control Panel on the Vista PC. Open Network and Sharing Center and verify that Network Discovery is ON.
