ElAguila Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 In XP I could create a user name and then edit the registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList]and hide the username from the welcome screen. I could login with that username by pressing the CTL+ALT+DEL keys. Is there any way to do this in Vista? When I press those keys at the login screen nothing happens.
ElAguila Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 I found it using google. If anyone else is interested here is what you do:Go to Admin tools=>Local Security Policy. Then Local policies=>Security options and set:Interactive logon: Do not display last username Enabled
