Hello :hello: new poster here!

I have created a simple xpsp2 slipstreamed cd on an old system. There is nothing special on it.

Just the integration of the original windows xp with the sp2.

I just got a new system that is sata, and no raid. Will this simple slipstreamed xpsp2 cd work with this new system?

I would assume all I would need it for was in case of emergencies, like booting, or replacing missing files

or reinstalling xp. The original install of xp sp1 on the new system was very simple.

The only thing that could not be done on the initial install was the support of super large HDD,

so my C drive is way smaller than the rest of my drives (partitions).

Thank you!

So, will it work? Dunno w/o specifics on the hardware. Best method is to slap the CD in and give it a try. Worst case is you'll have to re-author your CD to add any drivers you may need.
