Can't browse web dx 9 installed but not detected

Hi all of you! I am suffering from a very strange problem.

I recently formatted and reinstalled XP for some reasons.

But after that to install NFS MW i inserted the DVD and it didn't detect the dx 9!

I have latest January DX 9.

And then i wanted to download the latest so i connected to net.

But no other site than google,msfn can be opened!

I am really cluelesss what has happened.

I am also getting toooo slow net speed.

Please HELP ME OUT!!!!!

I am very sorry for my question, but i don't uderstand 'NFS MW' means ?
