Stead Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Hi, i'm still using my vista rc2 beta, hoping vista becomes very cheap by the time it runs out...doubtful i know...Anyways, has anyone used this vista upgrade express thing? my ex bought a laptop yesterday that is eligable for a vista home premium upgrade..on the site to register it asks how many copies of vista do you want, with the abliity to select upto 5..now I thought, hrmm, i could live with a 32bit genunie copy for insanly cheap, i'd prefer the x64 version, but really, for under £15..Does anyone know if vista will install if its not the laptop it was intended to be with? I can't think of any reason why they will allow 5 copies unless ms are thinking they will let all the comptuers be upgraded, makes sence if someone buys a new one they will have an older one in the house...if anyone knows anything about this program i'd be happy to know!
