DigeratiPrime Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I noticed this a while ago, and have yet to see anyone mention it.Under Tasks it should say 'System Properties' not 'System Protection' because thats what it links to.
BoardBabe Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Exactly the same in the Norwegian Windows Vista. ('Systembeskyttelse' translates to 'System Protection')I also noticed very poor Norwegian in the Activation dialog. This would probably only be interesting for people who know Norwegian, however this is clearly directly translated word by word, causing a somewhat weird sentence.
Tbone2 Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 my english version says 'System Protection this is correct the link takes you to system restore
Biohead Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I don't think it is a typo. It might open the system properties box - but look what tab is opened with it. It's the system protection one, with restore points etc.
BoardBabe Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Agree. This is probably not a typo. However it is still very poor Norwegian in the activation dialog

prx984 Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Just checked this on my new Vista laptop, and indeed, it says System Protection, but like Biohead says, the tab it takes you to is System Protection.Oh well
