pzych0
Hi, I've tried searching for it but with no luck.So here I go, I have made my own unattended Windows XP Pro with nLite 1.3 RC2.But somehow when I slipstream all the current high priority updates when the installation is done the LAN connecton is unavailable. It's there in device manager, but somehow you can't use it.It is ONLY when I slipstream all the high priority updates. Some help would be appreciated.Thanks.P.S. This happens on a Virtual PC, and on my own pc. Edited February 5, 2007 by pzych0
KRYOGENIUS
HelloWhen you use nlite, at the point about components, does nlite ask you which components you want to keep or not ?Can you post the nlite ini file, so we can see what happened++
pzych0
I found out that it is somehow random how the LAN is unavailable, I've tried installing only the updates, then it somehow worked in a way. Before my last post I had only tweaked settings with nLite, and it worked fine, then I installed the updates then it did that thing with the LAN connection/adapter.Now I tried installing only updates like said above, and it worked in a way, it started with saying limited or no connection, but when I specified an ip it worked, then I tried setting it back to automaticly get ip, then it worked suddenly. Then I tried tweaking the installation, then the problem re-occured.I think I will try an nLite without having the unattended option, and only updates and tweaks.Btw wich ini file are you talking about KRYOGENIUS?The "Last sessions" ini files or something else? Thanks. pzych0
Ok this is seriously f***ed up, I dunno if its somehow a tweak I've done that makes it do this, I excluded the unattended setup, and it did it anyway. It's kinda annoying, because I need to wait nearly 40 mins to test it on my virtual PC each time I do a new installation with nLite .
