gareththegod Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 When I was looking for more information on unattended setups before I found this excellent website I found something very interesting on microsoft.com.A small clue free keys that you can use to do something like an unattended installation using some default windows keys then change them later. PLEASE NOTE I haven't tried this yet.You can view the page here.Or download a word document here with the information in it. They are very near the end of the page/doc. You cannot use these to activate windows as its been disabled using these keys.Hope this is useful.
un4given1 Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 it was actually created for OEM system builders. It gives them the ability to install the OS without having to activate it. The user activates it or they OEM system builder can, but this way they are able to use one disk/image to install all PCs.
Prometheus Posted October 1, 2003 Posted October 1, 2003 Thanks. I have sought already for weeks, a solution for the problem.
