hi there,

after i found no solution to vlite crashing (wim error) on a unmodified xp with nearly nothing installed, i tried it with vista.

The problem now is a 100% reconstructable bsod while trying to save the iso to a samba network directory.

Host system is a parallels desktop on a macbook running osx, vista version is business from msdnaa.

Saving to the harddisc of the virtualized vista works without problems and no programms at all where installed with vista.

can i help in anyway solving this?

Do you have a antivirus installed? It can cause BSOD as well.

But if it's not working on the networked directory even without a antivirus just copy it localy while modifying.

Ok.

I'm also getting a little bit annoyed by all of these WIM mount limitations: can bsod with antivirus and now you say on the network directory. I really hope they fix the filter.
