Trying to bypass driver signing/New Hardware Wizard

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I need to push out an audio driver, silently to a bunch of PCs. I got it going and it installs fine completely invisibly, but after the install the box pops up that says that the driver has not passed the Windows Logo process, do you want to install?

I need to silently say yes.

I have set the GPO for unsigned driver install to silently succeed and I can't find a policy for unsignednondriver anywhere to set...

I even set the local policies and went to control panel system and checked ignore for signed driver checking.

I have tried numerous registry edits and I have even tried to hexedit the syssteup.dll file (could not find the appropriate string to edit).

Nothing works.

I even tried the program dspdsblr but it doens't work... keeps popping that box up.

Any advice or help on this would be very appreciate... I am totally stuped ast o how I can bypass that box.. thanks in advance!
