luke.mccormick Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 (edited) just wondering, if in active directory, do YOU assign a profile path to the domain administrator user(not all of the group members but THE administrator user) I usually don't and I don't know if it's a best practice or not, I do have a login script, but no home directory or profile path. cluberti Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I usuallly leave the built-in accounts alone, and only assign profile paths to regular users. Roaming admin accounts just doesn't make much sense in most environments, as you really should never use that account to do anything more than major upgrades and patching.
fizban2 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 the built-in accounts shouldn't be used regularly, so profile paths and things like that wouldn't be needed, not having them there will probably deter people from using them if they are used to have things different on their accounts (which would be good)
luke.mccormick Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 this is a home test environment mainly, so that's a user i use most often on my desktop box. Thanks for the input.
