Is there any method to slipstream SP2 on a trial version of Windows XP Professional? I've got this error.

No, unfortunately, there isn't. You'll have to get a non-trial version of the Windows i386 directory to integrate any hotfixes or service packs. You may be able to hack it in, but that usually breaks trial versions...
