Quick Question?

Hey Guys, I just had a quick question. I was surfing the web and I saw lot of customize Vista Stuff. My question is how do or what is the best way to find out which Vista DLL Files are customizable. For example I want to edit the Vista Animation Logo right before the welcome screen or if I wanted to edit the System Property Box, stuff like this. I am new to this stuff, so please if anyone can tell me where I should start, I would be really thankful.
