Silent Install of Ace Utilities, Mozilla, Webshots

How to silently install these apps?

I tried the /s switch for Ace Utilities but it didn't work.

Use webshots /s parameter.its working because webshots using wise installation.

For Ace utilities you can find to Link Removed.Download exract and use winrar for silent setup.Winrar can make silent setup,desktop and start menu shortcut.If you don't know how I will help you

I think Mozilla not necessary.

Yes, yes, scankurban, tell me more about Winrar and this self extracting stuff.

More precisely, where to put the command to execute the self extracting file and where to point the extracted files to.

(For example, I would like to replace the original aceutils.exe with a patched one. And replace the Collections folder in Webshots with a new one)

P.S. Your site is not in English so I don't understand but I already have Ace Utilities.

Ugh. The /s switch doesn't work for Webshots.

Maybe it's just me.

WinRAR really powerfull archiver and many usefull addons.Some setup parameters for SFX rar archives.Parameters must be put archive comment.

Silent=2 don't wait user at the begining extracted automatically

Silent=1 Fully automated extraction.everything silent

If use the /s switch to SFX file Package extracting silently (like ace.exe /s)

Setup=setup.exe /s When all files are extract run automatically setup exe.You can use switch if needed (setup=setup.exe s)

Path= When its empty files are etxracing to Program Files dir.

Path=Sample Extraction to Program Files\sample

Path=C:\sample This is a fixed way definition (If root drive not C:\ use "%SYSTEMDRIVE%\sample") SFX header know where is the root)

And you can find many option.Right click to any file-->Add to archive-->Make Sfx archive-->Jump next card-->SFX options
