directx- flight sim x

strange problem. flight sim x says that my vers of directx is incompatible with it, even if i install the version that came on the install disk... and if i run dxdiag, windows says that it cant find it... if also tried the january version, no luck. but games like maddan07 detects directx just fine.

hmm, i finally got around to finding out that the problem was that i needed d3dx9_30.dll
