Good PDF printer driver needed

Featured Replies

Hello,

I need a software tool for Windows that works as a PDF printer driver, I mean to stay among the real printers and to create PDF files from what I print to it ( must work with Excel, PowerPoint ).. I tried a few free ones but they all have some nags or annoying limitations, a commercial product would be acceptable as long as is not very expensive ( under $100 )... Any suggestions?

We use FreePDF XP at work. So far I have not seen any problems. But as most other free methods to generate PDFs, it will require Ghostscript to be installed.

English translation is included. http://www.shbox.de/fpx732.htm

PrimoPDF is a product I have used before. Try googling that, I don't remember their webpage...

Thank you very much for your helpful suggestions!

CutePDF is ok, but it requires Ghostscript. PDFcreator is also ok, but it doesn't have new updates since August.

I also tried PrimoPDF but for some reason it did not work properly on my computer... very weird, I uninstalled and installed it several times...

This morning I found an interesting alternative: PDF Writer Pro

I'll give it a go.

Thank you for taking your time answering to my post.
