I'm trying to build a Windows 2000 CD with all the updates since SP4 as listed in this forum. I'm using the SVCPACK.INF method.

After a lot of testings using Virtual PC I made this SVCPACK.INF file:

;Windows 2000
[Version]
Signature="$Windows NT$"
MajorVersion=5
MinorVersion=0
BuildNumber=2195

[SetupData]
CatalogSubDir="\I386\SVCPACK"

I had to put the KB911562 on top because it won't install before KB891861 (Update Rollup 1) as he complains about a reboot required for some MDAC files to update. If I do that way Windows Update says that I need the Q832483 update, but the manual install says that patch can't be applied because there's a newer version of some files installed on the system: the files updated by KB911562. I don't believe that Q832483 is really required as it's not listed on the updates list topic on this forum.

How can I get rid of this sillyness? I'm using the Spanish translation.
