  1. I'm trying to build a Windows 2000 CD with all the updates since SP4 as listed in this forum. I'm using the SVCPACK.INF method. After a lot of testings using Virtual PC I made this SVCPACK.INF file: ;Windows 2000 [Version] Signature="$Windows NT$" MajorVersion=5 MinorVersion=0 BuildNumber=2195 [SetupData] CatalogSubDir="\I386\SVCPACK" [ProductCatalogsToInstall] [SetupHotfixesToRun] KB911562.EXE /Q /O /Z /N IE6SETUP.EXE /Q:A /R:N KB842773.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB891861.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB893756.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB893803.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB896358.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB896423.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB896424.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB899587.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB899589.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB900725.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB901017.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB901214.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB904706.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB905414.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB905495.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB905749.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB908519.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB908531.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB911280.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB911564.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB912919.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB913580.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB914388.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB914389.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917344.EXE /Q:A /R:N KB917008.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917422.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917537.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917734.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917736.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB917953.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB918439.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB920213.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB920670.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB920683.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB920685.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB920958.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB921398.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB922582.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB922616.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB923191.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB923414.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB923689.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB923694.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB923980.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB924191.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB924270.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB925398.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB925454.EXE /Q /O /Z /N KB929969.EXE /Q /O /Z /N QCHAIN.EXE I had to put the KB911562 on top because it won't install before KB891861 (Update Rollup 1) as he complains about a reboot required for some MDAC files to update. If I do that way Windows Update says that I need the Q832483 update, but the manual install says that patch can't be applied because there's a newer version of some files installed on the system: the files updated by KB911562. I don't believe that Q832483 is really required as it's not listed on the updates list topic on this forum. How can I get rid of this sillyness? I'm using the Spanish translation.
