Block System Tray Icon?

The title says it really. (I'm talking XPSP2)

Does anyone know a way to stop an application displaying in the notification area(aka system tray) whilst still allowing the application to do its stuff?

The app I want to do this with is this one;

Visual Tool Tip

It's a very nice little app that gives Vista style tool tips in XP.

Here's a couple of things for you:

1. Use PS Tray Factory to hide system tray icons (shareware and 2.1 works best).

2. Use Tasktips. A free utility that does not use a system tray icon (attached).

I am currently trying a fresh (virtual) install so will be trying your file. Hope I can get it to do what I want.
