<SparTacuS> Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 The title says it really. (I'm talking XPSP2)Does anyone know a way to stop an application displaying in the notification area(aka system tray) whilst still allowing the application to do its stuff? The app I want to do this with is this one;Visual Tool TipIt's a very nice little app that gives Vista style tool tips in XP.
DarkRats Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Here's a couple of things for you:1. Use PS Tray Factory to hide system tray icons (shareware and 2.1 works best).2. Use Tasktips. A free utility that does not use a system tray icon (attached).darkratstasktips.zip
