sameen Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 sometimes xp files got corrupt & xp tells that u can recover them in recovery console using xp cd or some file says that it has got corrupt & reinstall this file i am not a very advance user so please tell me how can i do that

sameen Posted January 6, 2007 Author Posted January 6, 2007 i think u failed to understand my juncturewhat i want to say is that in xp there is a program SFC or system files checker which checks & repair corrupted or changed system filessimilarly i asked u how can i do such thing in recovery console i.e repairing systems corrupted files
cluberti Posted January 6, 2007 Posted January 6, 2007 You don't - you have to do it manually via commands from the command line to replace files, as the link in the previous post describes. There is no sfc from the command line recovery console.
