"The scanning software could not be found"

Hi Everybody!

I keep getting this message with my nLited version of XP and I'd appreciate some help because I can't seem to figure it out. I've always used my scanner (HP PSC 750) with it's standard drivers and the integreated Windows software, but I guess I've removed something that prevents it from running properly.

I've attached my settings.

Well, I've narrowed it down to the Services. It's gotta be one of them, but which one?

It turned out to be not only a service, but also a "operating system" option. To be able to use the built-in Windows scanning software you have to keep System event notification (SENS) service and the "Logon Notifications" under operating system.
