zonk7ate9 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 (edited) I just made a new nLite CD today but after windows is installed my computer won't boot up. The loading bar freezes after about 5 or 6 seconds and then the computer reboots itself a few seconds after that. I think its related to the network because I can boot into safe mode, but not into safe mode with networking (same result, freezes and reboots). I remeber having a similar problem to this a few months back with my nLite CD, but I can't seem to find the post that helped me resolve the issue last time. The strange thing is when I tested the install on a virtual machine it worked fine. The only changes between my version and the virtual machine version is that the virtual machine install kept the generic ethernet drivers (so I could make sure the network worked) and created an additional user account. Here is my LAST SESSION.INI:/cut...attachedLAST_SESSION.INI Edited January 1, 2007 by nuhi
nuhi Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Hm weird...I heard constantly about SATA/RAID issues on the first bootup when install is done but never network.Try disabling the LAN adapter(s) in the safe mode if such thing is even possible. If not then exclude the LAN driver when making next test if you can and be sure to remove Windows drivers. But I somehow doubt that it's LAN drivers...let me know of the results and maybe you will be able to install drivers later manually...could be error in integration. And this post doesn't seem long to you? I deleted the preset which is attached anyway.
